Foreigners Integration Center in Gorzów Wielkopolski cordially invites all children of foreigners legally staying in Poland to a unique adaptation and orientation course "Discovering Poland".
The classes will be held on August 11–14, 2025 in the hours 08:00–12:00 at the Center's headquarters at ul. Kombatantów 34 (3rd floor), 66-400 Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The course is conducted in languages Polish and Ukrainian By Caritas of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Diocese.
What will children learn during the course?
- Poland from scratch – where we are, what are the national symbols, language and most important cities.
- History and legends – who were the kings of Poland, how our state was founded.
- Who rules the country – what the president does and what laws apply in Poland.
- Culture and traditions – holidays, food, music and customs.
- Everyday life – education, health, safety and professions in Poland.
Why is it worth it?
- Your child will spend time in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
- It will be easier to find your way in the new school environment.
- The course will combine learning with fun – children of all ages are welcome, along with their parents or guardians!
Participation in the course is free, however, registration is required – the order of applications decides.
