Psychological support for children

Psychological support for children is aimed at obtaining psychological assistance related to, among other things, the experience of migration, as well as the experience of cultural differences and the change in the current environment of the foreigner and his or her family.

This includes overcoming difficulties in adapting to a new sociocultural environment, the breakdown of family ties resulting from separation from loved ones, and assistance in cases of traumatic experiences. Psychological support is available to foreigners up to 18 years of age.

Comprehensive psychological support for children, tailored to their individual needs, includes:

  • support in adapting to the new socio-cultural environment,
  • overcoming adaptation difficulties,
  • support in overcoming emotional and social difficulties,
  • supporting the process of acclimatization and social integration,
  • help in coping with separation from family and broken ties,
  • support in the event of traumatic experiences,
  • developing stress coping skills.

Assistance is provided free of charge. Registration is required. Dates for psychological support will be scheduled by CIC Assistants.
